Image Comics Reprint ‘Saga’ As Trim Size Graphic Novels

Image Comics is to reprint Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples’ Saga series as new 6″x 9″ trim size editions this September with new cover art by Staples which was revealed yesterday via ComicBook.com‘s TikTok.

And… that’s about it. It’s a bit difficult to put any kind of spin on this announcement, especially as it’s a day late.

I suppose I could remind everyone it’s a multi-award-winning title and sold ten million copies to date across all formats. Oh, and a quote from Vaughn too:

“How cool is it to see Fiona revisiting our heroes at the beginning of their journey? While Fiona and I are hard at work on new chapters of Saga, we hope these lovely editions from Image will help introduce a whole new audience to the ongoing adventures of Hazel and her star-crossed family,” 

That, and the debut date of the first volume. Which is Wednesday, September 11th in comic book stores, and on Tuesday, September 24 in bookstores.

But, more than that would be stretching it. So, I’ll leave it there. You have now got all the information you really need, so I’ll be out of here and onto the next story.
