‘The Gate’ Will Be Unleashed In A New Blu-ray Steelbook This May

The Gate is opening…again. The 1987 fantasy-horror cult classic will arrive on Blu-ray in a brand new Steelbook from Lionsgate this May.
When two teen boys (Stephen Dorff and Louis Tripp) find a mysterious crystal in their backyard, they start digging in the hope of finding more precious stones. But they dig too deep, uncovering The Gate and all the unearthly evil that resides within.
The Gate will appear in a brand new Steelbook case with wraparound art from Vance Kelly. Previously released extras include two audio commentaries featuring director Tibor Takacs, writer Michael Nankin, and others, plus featurettes, trailers, and a behind-the-scenes still gallery.
The Gate will be available May 14 on Blu-ray SteelBook exclusively at Walmart for the suggested retail price of $23.99.
