Peach Momoko Turns The Mutants In ‘X-Men: Blood Hunt’ Variants
by Tony Thornley
Peach Momoko continues her streak of unsettling Blood Hunt variants. In June, she covers the four X-Men: Blood Hunt variants bridging the gap between the Fall of the House of X and the upcoming From the Ashes era.

The four variant covers capture Momoko’s signature style. The four spotlight heroes — Psylocke, Jubilee, Magik and Laura Kinney The Wolverine — each have a major part to play in Blood Hunt and each will be starring in one of the upcoming X-Men From The Ashes titles. (Of note, we saw Psylocke and Magik in X-Men, and Jubilee in Uncanny X-Men, but Laura was missing from the initial promo, meaning she’s the star of one of the teased but unannounced titles.)
Momoko’s covers transform each of the starring X-Men into the undead (or back into a bloodsucker in Jubilee’s case). With several heroes like Doctor Strange, Black Panther and Miles Morales being turned on covers of several series, it seems these covers are foreshadowing and not just a cool artistic touch.
Check out the quartet of covers above, and be sure to watch for your favorites in June and July from Marvel Comics!
