They’ve Done It Again: WizKids Bahamut Is Fabulous!
by Anton Kromoff
Welcome to the table,
There was a small, kind of wacky wizard with a goofy name who I found offputting as a kid. Within the pages of my beloved Dragonlance books, this guy was loud, overly silly, and absentminded in a way that reminded me of those kids who did everything for attention. Fake falling, slurping food, just generally being over the top to see how many eyes they could have on them for some reason that was lost on me.

As I navigated the first book in the Dragonlance Chronicles series, this bumbling old wizard and his ability to only cast Fireball got so far under my skin I found myself hopeful that some great black dragon would swoop in and consume him, bones and all, and rid me of his bumbling fumbling weirdness.

And yet, strangely, page turn after page turn, and transitioning from the Dragons of Autumn Twilight book to the Dragons of Winter Night book, I found myself laughing at his antics. I went from disliking the little nuances to starting to actually find him endearing.
Then it all goes sideways, gods are revealed. Suddenly a very small child is holding a very large book where a very goofy wizard is a very powerful god in disguise.

The folks over at WizKids have managed to do it again, they have captured the grandeur of the patron progenitor of metallic dragons, Bahamut in all his glory!
Not only are they selling a miniature that is over a foot tall complete with removable healing breath, but you also get a tiny goofball wizard, known more officially as Fizban the Fabulous and a mini of a tiny swarm of canaries as well!
Those in the know are aware that the tiny swarm of canaries are seven ancient gold dragons in disguise ready to transform into golden titans of justice and lay waste to all that do evil or threaten the innocent.
You can pre-order your very own dragon god mini at this link.
Until next time, FIREBALL!
