WonderCon 2024: ‘The Dragon Prince: Mystery Of Aaravos’ Season 6 Will Explore Callum’s Birth Father
by Gary Catig
Season five of The Dragon Prince: Mystery of Aaravos was released last summer. Since then, fans have been waiting to return to the land of Xadia with season six. To help prep viewers with what’s to come, the animated fantasy series about a fragile coexistence between humans, elves, and dragons held a panel at WonderCon 2024. Addressing the audience were creators Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond, lead writer Devon Giehl, show-runner Villads Spangsberg, and voice actor Racquel Belmonte.

Though we know that season six of The Dragon Prince: Mystery of Aaravos will premiere this year, unfortunately we did not receive an exact date during the presentation. The panelists did share a few teases for the new season. For instance, we will finally gain insight regarding Callum’s birth father. Then, for an out of context spoiler, Giehl cryptically revealed that Ruthari, the couple of Runaan and Ethari, are currently sad, making stuff, and growing their hair out long.
Though the creator’s and cast were hush hush about the new season, they thought actions spoke louder than words and shared the very first episode. And unlike the screening at New York Comic Con, this one was actually the complete episode. There is a super secret scene at the very end. However, we are unable to talk about it here to keep the big surprise for fans. It was so serious, that the entire audience took a sacred Crownguard oath to not share what we saw.
