New Artist, New Plot: Skybound Shares A First Look At ‘Transformers’ #8

One of the hottest comics at the moment must be Skybound/Image Comics/Hasbro’s Transformers. A lot of that has to do with Daniel Warren Johnson’s involvement. That and the hardcore fans and the HUGE buzz around its launch, thanks to the stealth launch in Robert Kirkman and Lorenzo De Felici’s Void Rivals. It all contributes to its ongoing success. So I imagine a new preview of Transformers #8, and the start of a new story arc should go down well with all of you.

As the Autobots and Decepticons make some tough choices to survive on Earth, the return of a fan-favorite Decepticon will change the war on Cybertron forever.

As well as a main cover by Daniel Warren Johnson and Mike Spicer, there are covers by new series artist Jorge Corona & Spicer, a 1:10 incentive variant (a new connecting cover series by Karen S. Darboe), a 1:25 incentive variant by Ethan Young, and a 1:50 incentive variant by Paul Azaceta.
