Cyclops’ New ‘X-Men’ Take Center Stage In First Variants
by Tony Thornley
Scott Summers has been to hell and back, much in the name of mutant safety. In July’s X-Men, the centerpiece of the X-Men From The Ashes, Cyclops leads his powerful new team in the name of mutant revolution.

Jed MacKay and Ryan Stegman’s flagship team of X-Men isn’t the first powerhouse squad Cyclops has assembled. However, it is a unique one- a mixture of veterans in Beast, Psylocke and Magik, the next generation Kid Omega and Temper, and absolute powerhouses Magneto and Juggernaut. It’s a unique and exciting team, and one that we’re definitely curious about.
To celebrate the launch, Marvel has released a glimpse of the debut’s first round of variant covers from superstars.

Tony Daniel gives us an iconic shot of the new squad. J. Scott Campbell brings Psylocke to center stage (which will also be available as a virgin variant). Perhaps the best of the bunch is a classic Beast pin-up from late Marvel legend George Perez, whose take on Beast inspired Stegman’s interpretation of the character.

Check out all three covers now and be sure to watch for your favorites this July from Marvel Comics!
