‘X-Factor’ Reveals The Future In First Variant Covers

This summer X-Factor joins the new X-Men From The Ashes publishing initiative. The first batch of variant covers shows that this team is not to be messed with.
Coming from Mark Russell and Bob Quinn, X-Factor will feature Havok and Angel leading a new team on the government funded, public relations-friendly superhero team. But there’s clearly more under the surface, as they fight newly emerging mutant threats like the Mutant Underground and X-Term (which is suspiciously similar to X-Terminators from the original X-Factor’s concept).
These first variant covers show more of the team- including Dr. Cecilia Reyes and new mutant Xyber, a tech specialist. Mahmud Asrar puts Havok front and center in a new group shot. X-Force artist Marcus To begins a series of spotlight variants, kicking off again with Alex Summers. And Luciano Vecchio gives his spin on Marvel’s popular window shades variants.
