Meet The ‘Exceptional X-Men’ In First Variant Covers

Kitty Pryde and Emma Frost have a long pedigree with the X-Men’s young mutants. As part of the X-Men From The Ashes relaunch this duo will lead the next generation of Exceptional X-Men.
From Eve Ewing and Carmen Carnero, the series will follow the X-Men’s stalwarts. But Kitty has sworn off the X-Men life. Emma will have to show her why she needs her help. But can Bronze, Axo and Melee survive the experience.
The series’ first variant covers center on the leads of the series. Joelle Jones and Elizabeth Torque both show off the team itself as well as the series design language- both with the characters and their new universes. Meanwhile David Baldeon puts a spotlight on Bronze, the character that looks like the series’ breakout.
