Skadoosh! Jack Black’s ‘Kung Fu Panda 4’ Ready To Kick Butt On 4K UHD And Blu-ray

After grossing a hefty half a billion in theaters worldwide, Kung Fu Panda 4 is heading to Digital, 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD May 28th from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
Eight years after Kung Fu Panda 3, Jack Black returns as Po, who goes on one last harebrained adventure before taking on the mantle of the spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace. His travels bring him face to face with several old enemies, and well as some new comrades-in-arms.
Ian McShane, Dustin Hoffman, James Hong, and Bryan Cranston also reprise their roles from previous films in the series, and they’re joined by newcomers Ronny Chieng, Ke Huy Quan, and Viola Davis.
It also features the vocal stylings of Awkwafina, in case you didn’t get enough of her voice in just about every non-Pixar animated film from the last five years, including Raya and the Last Dragon, The Bad Guys, The Little Mermaid, Migration, and the new film IF.
Extras include an exclusive new short film called Dueling Dumplings, deleted scenes, a featurette in which Black learns how to make dumplings, a bit with DreamWorks Animation artists demonstrating how to draw the film’s characters, and other behind-the-scenes material. It also includes an audio commentary with director Mike Mitchell, co-director Stephanie Ma Stine, and others, and a second one with the film’s cuddly but violent Bad Bunnies.
Fans of Black’s manic musicality can find more in the recently released Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny Blu-ray.
Kung Fu Panda 4 arrives on Digital, 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on May 28th.
