Kickstarting Comics: ‘Ex.Mag’ Returns With ‘Volume V: Bloodsucker’

Ex.Mag is an award-winning genre-based anthology series from indie publisher Peow2. Volume Five is themed around bloodsucking vampires. It features nearly 300 pages and ten stories from artists including Adam de Souza, Akino Kogomi, Bani-Chan, Chariospirale, Dodleyz, Gobli Prin, Jane Mai, Loïc Locatelli-Kournwsky, Luca Oliveri, Matthew Houston, Mel Tow, Marko K. Gavez, Morgan Nix, Nozmo, Ryan Plaisance, Takato Yamamoto, Tia Roxae, Theo Stultz, and Tyler Landry.

Having read through the other volumes of Ex.Mag, I’ve found the production values to be stellar and the stories are charming and surprising. The variety of art styles and talent on this project is astounding. More people trying to break into comics should study anthologies like Ex.Mag.
