Toon Books really does stand out for its collection of wonderful graphic novels designed for children, and has done since its first release in 2008. They publish a range of marvellous books for all ages of children and all levels of reading, something that’s so important in getting kids into comics at an early age.

I’ve featured them a fair bit, with perhaps my favourite of recent years being Frank Viva‘s delightful Gotta Go!, but there’s a new book in September that may well be up there with the very best of their releases – the rather delightfully spooky sounds of Hearing Things by Ben Sears.
