Mickey & Friends Continue Their Marvel Universe Adventures In New Variant Covers

The Marvel and Mickey mash-ups of the last two years have given fans some of the most fun variant covers in a long time. Later this year, Disney’s biggest characters continue their What If…? inspired trip through the Marvel Universe.
Continuing on the covers of Amazing Spider-Man in July, August and September, the next round of covers all homage some of the most iconic X-Men and Avengers storylines in the franchises’ history.
The new artwork sees the gang assemble for the memorable roster shakeup in Avengers #151 with each member of the “big six” standing in for an iconic Avenger. Mickey and Donald team up just like Hawkeye and Ant-Man did in Avengers #223, one of the greatest Avengers covers of all time.Last up, Donald and Daisy stand together as Cyclops and Jean Grey during the climax of the groundbreaking Dark Phoenix Saga in Uncanny X-Men #137.
