Pharrell Williams Biography Told Via LEGO In ‘Piece By Piece’

When I first saw teaser images of Piece by Piece, my first thought was “not another LEGO movie.” In fairness, I think The LEGO Batman Movie is the most fun Batman film in recent memory. However, I did feel that LEGO was milking things with too many LEGO films and spin-offs back-to-back.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that Piece by Piece was going to be an animated biography about Pharrell Williams life and music. This is a really bizarre concept that’s indicative of this era in pop culture. And I must admit the film looks quite fun and inventive. Piece by Piece will also feature the voices of Gwen Stefani, Kendrick Lamar, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, and Snoop Dogg.
Pharrell fan can look forward to Piece by Piece in theaters October 11.
