Annecy Animation Festival 2024: Zack Snyder Advocates For More Adult Animation

At the 2024 Annecy Animation Festival, director Zack Snyder showed the first teaser for Twilight of the Gods to an excited crowd. In the interview above Snyder talks about the expanding potential of Western adult animation. Some of Synder’s formative animation influences include Akira and Ralph Bakshi’s Wizards. Snyder is a die-hard lover of Heavy Metal Magazine and mythology– so we can expect plenty of sex, violence, and vikings when Twilight of the Gods starts streaming on Netflix.
