It’s The Beginning Of The End In September’s ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ #58

Marvel’s Amazing Spider-Man has fought a war for this entire volume. In September, the final battle against Tombstone begins, and with it, Zeb Wells & John Romita Jr’s run nears its end.
For the past three years, Wells has guided Peter Parker through some major ups and downs, both on and off the page. The bright spot in that entire run has been the war between Spider-Man and Tombstone. It’s only fitting that this run comes to an end with Spider-Man closing the book on his war with Tombstone.
Aside from that plot detail and the creative team, Marvel didn’t provide much other information as to this volume’s close. We don’t know if the final arc is 3, 6 or 17 issues (probably not that last one), but it will definitely end on a high note as this is where it ends.
