‘Blood Hunt’ Reveals Final Issue Variants As The Marvel Universe Changes Forever

by Tony Thornley

Marvel’s Blood Hunt keeps delivering shocks after shocks. On July 31, it all comes to a horrifying end, and Marvel has a slew of variant covers to celebrate.

The story so far has seen Doctor Strange, Spider-Man and Black Panther turned into blood suckers, Doom as an unexpected (literal) bright spot, Thor being turned into a drinking fountain, and Blade as the new king of the vampires. The art has been killer, and the Red Band gimmick- while still a gimmick- is being used to its bloody fullest. It’s an event that knows that it’s a big action flick, and that’s been to its benefit.

The story will wrap with the Avengers and all their allies confronting Blade and forging a path towards some exciting stories to come across the universe.

Check out the covers for this final issue, including Pepe Larraz’s main cover as well as variants by Kael Ngu, Mahmud Asrar, Peach Momoko, David Baldeon, and the final part of Gabrielle Dell’Otto’s massive connecting covers. As an added bonus, there’s two incredible interior pages as well!

Blood Hunt #5 releases on July 31 from Marvel Comics.
