Flashback To The ’80s With Three ‘Dazzler’ #1 Variant Covers!

Following months of rampant speculation that popstar and pop culture icon Taylor Swift will be appearing as Dazzler in Deadpool & Wolverine, the character’s profile is higher than its ever been since she was headlining her own solo series! Marvel, never one to shy away from a promotional opportunity, is responding with a new Dazzler miniseries coming this fall. And just now they’ve released a trio of variant covers for issue #1 to further boost this summer’s Dazzler quotient!
Launching as part of the X-Men’s new “From the Ashes” era, the all-new Dazzler limited series comes from rising Marvel star Jason Loo (Sentry, Infinity Paws) and extraordinary Marvel newcomer artist Rafael Loureiro. While Dazzler #1 hits this September, you can check out three all-new variant covers for the debut issue today.
A piece by Yasmine Putri and a special Windowshades Variant by Marguerite Sauvage both feature Dazzler in her “Disco Dazzler” garb getting ready to hit the road for her world tour! But the highlight of the batch is a Foil Variant by superstar artist Kaare Andrews, which spotlights Dazzler in her butt-kicking ‘80s costume. It’s a delight to get a high profile Dazzler image in which the character is wearing something other than the original disco suit.
