Donald Glover stars as Bando Stone a washed-up singer who’s trapped in a town of bizarre and deadly anomalies. After finding two other survivors Stone must use his skills, or lack thereof, to escape the mysterious forces that are reshaping the world.
Glover is no stranger to weird fiction– his hit series Atlanta is a prime example of Afro-Surrealism. Bando Stone and The New World looks like a big budget Twilight Zone episode in the best possible way. If your a fan of Jordan Peele horror films you should definitely check this out.
