Enjoy Turn-Based Ninja Action In ‘Arashi Gaiden’
by Sage Ashford
Ever wanted to try some pulse-pounding ninja action but with a bit more strategy? Statera Studio and Wired Dreams Studios have announced Arashi Gaiden, a ninja game where all the action is turn-based. Though it’s a new announcement, the Steam overview page is loaded with info:
Arashi Gaiden is a turn-based action game, with frantic combat, in the dash-and-slash style, in which a ronin is hired by his former master, receiving the mission of recovering three powerful eastern relics, that the Matilha stole. This criminal organization joined a clan of Ninjas and is dominating the world of crime in Japan. This game is part of the same universe as Pocket Bravery, and expands the story of an important part of the game’s Japanese core.
It’s slated to be around five hours long, depending on how players build their characters. There’s a high level of focus on the combat, with each encounter playing out like a puzzle. It’s definitely a unique idea, and one more reason why its so great to have a vibrant indie space.
Arashi Gaiden is coming to Steam in 2025.
