Magma Comix’s ‘Greaser: Gemini Blues’ #1 Gets Second Printing

Ahead of SDCC 2024, Magma Comix announces a second printing of the sci-fi romance series Greaser: Gemini Blues #1. Written and created by Darick Robertson (The Boys, Transmetropolitan) and animation artist Stephen B. Jones (Batman Beyond), the second printing features a cover B by Robertson. It goes on sale Wednesday, July 24th, just in time to be picked up and signed at the Magma Comix SDCC booth, #1709.

Copies will also be available for sale at the booth, alongside a convention exclusive lithograph of Greaser: Gemini Blues #1 by Dan Panosian in limited quantities. Additionally, both Robertson and Jones will signing at the booth throughout the convention.

Futurama meets Mad MaxGreaser: Gemini Blues follows Buddy, a Greaser living in Earth’s future in the scorching Nevada desert, surviving by doing repairs on the spacecraft of the aliens that moved in decades ago: the Gemini. 

Living in a roadside diner, Buddy builds his dream car from scavenged parts and imagines what life would be like under the bio-domes of nearby Old Vegas. His life is interrupted when a motorcycle gang leaves behind precious cargo in Buddy’s yard. The owners want it back, and will destroy anything in their way to get it.

Greaser: Gemini Blues #1 second printing is on sale July 24th. Greaser: Gemini Blues #2, and will ship to stores on September 4th.
