SDCC 2024: It’s The Beginning Of The End For ‘Star Wars: The High Republic’ In February

by Tony Thornley

In 2021, Star Wars: The High Republic launched one of the most exciting stories in a galaxy far far away. This February, Lucasfilm and Marvel Comics launches the final chapter of this galaxy spanning story in Star Wars: The High Republic — Fear Of The Jedi.

In The High Republic, Lucasfilm launched a multi-platform story featuring the Jedi and the Old Republic at the height of their golden age. When the violent pirate class the Nihil appeared and launched their plans, the galaxy was thrown into disarray. Now the heroes of the High Republic gather in the Marvel Comics series to face the Nihil one last time, and pave the way for what’s next.

Written by one of the initiative’s architects — Cavan Scott — with art by Marika Cresta, Fear of the Jedi finds Jedi Master Keeve Trennis leading a group of heroes and Jedi into the Nihil Occlusion Zone. Their mission is one of the most dangerous the Jedi have ever faced, and it will change the fates of all the Jedi forever.
