Eli Roth’s ‘Thanksgiving’ Heading Home On 4K And Blu-ray With All The Trimmings

Eli Roth‘s horror-comedy Thanksgiving is coming home just in time for the most important of family holidays.
Halloween, of course.
What began as a trailer for a fake movie in Robert Rodriguez‘s and Quentin Tarantino‘s 2007 omnibus film Grindhouse, Thanksgiving was belatedly expanded into feature-length last year. Now, it will arrive on limited edition 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray steelbook on October 15th.
Thanksgiving is pretty much exactly what you’d expect. Years after a Black Friday sales event ends in bloody carnage, a serial killer with a Turkey Day fixation terrorizes Plymouth, Massachusetts — the birthplace of the holiday itself. Can the local Sheriff (Patrick Dempsey) and a bunch of teenagers put a stop the mysterious masked killer? Or will they all end up on the receiving end of a hatchet, a pitchfork, a turkey baster and/or a groan-worthy Thanksgiving pun?
The film also stars Addison Rae, Milo Manheim, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Nell Verlaque, Rick Hoffman, and Gina Gershon.
Thanksgiving is presented in 4K resolution with Dolby Vision, in English Dolby Atmos + English 5.1. Special Features include some featurettes, and the theatrical trailer.
The Blu-ray disc’s side dishes also include an audio commentary with Roth and co-writer Jeff Rendell, deleted and extended scenes, outtakes, and some of Roth and Rendell’s early home movies from their childhood in Massachusetts.
