‘Murder Drones’ Delivers An Epic Final Episode

by Tito W. James

Murder Drones has finally come to a close after three years of spooky shenanigans. The team at Glitch Productions really pulled out all the stops for the final episode. It’s fitting that the show climaxes with a battle of killer robots to the tune of “Nightcore” music. The action scenes within this episode are more graphic and intense than anything we see in CG animated feature films.

From the show’s inception, Murder Drones challenged what a cartoon could be. This was a series that had action, humor, heart, horror, world-building, and bizarre sex-appeal. Unrestrained and unapologetically for the goth teen inside all of us, Murder Drones paved the way and raised the bar for indie animation. I hope that fans of the series feel inspired to create their own characters and tell their own stories. The success of Murder Drones should signal to larger animation companies and networks that they should cater to a young adult demographic.

Murder Drones may be over but its charmingly twisted characters will live on in our hearts for years to come.
