The Power Fantasy #1 Gets A Third Printing To Keep Up With Demand

The Power Fantasy #1 by Kieron Gillen (The Wicked + The Divine, Die, Darth Vader, forthcoming We Called Them Giants) and Caspar Wijngaard (Home Sick Pilots, All Against All) has sold out yet again, prompting a third printing and a new cover:
Launched earlier this month earlier this month it sold out even before it was released with Image ordering a second, pre-release reprint, just like Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples’ Saga #1, previously.
Speaking of this sell out success, Gillen said:
“The response to the book has been everything we could have hoped for and more. The only thing more powerful than our cast is the resilience of our printers, desperately trying to make enough copies to meet demand. We hail them and their noble battle. They are the true heroes.”
Wijngaard added:
“Absolutely overwhelmed by the support the series has received just one issue in and we’re only getting started. Thank you so much.”
The Power Fantasy #1, second printing will be available on Wednesday, September 11th with a third printing available on Wednesday, September 25th.
The Power Fantasy #2 will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, September 18, The Power Fantasy #3 will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, October 16 and The Power Fantasy #4 will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, November 13th.
