Agatha From ‘Head Lopper’ Gets Her Own Stand Alone Story Via New Kickstarter

After the success of Snarlagon, Andrew MacLean returns to Kickstarter to create and all-new, all-age, stand alone story within the world of Head Lopper. MacLean continues to be one of indie comics most unique voices and I’m glad he’s revisiting the Head Lopper world in a fresh and fun way. A solo story centered on Agatha should reward long-time readers and possibly pull in new ones.

A prequel to the Head Lopper series but requiring no prior reading, Agatha Blue Witch pays a visit to her good friend and neighbor, Thereznia, the ever-silent, fly wing plucking witch who dwells in the heart of the forest. Agatha returns home to find she has a visitor herself, the Archmage Garlic. Agatha has never been what some would call a good witch. She’s never been studious and she’s never been much of a conformist, so her interactions with the Archmage, head of her magical order, have been limited to say the least. So Garlic’s visit comes as a great surprise to Agatha. Matters turn dire quickly when Agatha realizes Garlic has come to ask some very tough questions of her, questions that Garlic plans on getting the answers to no matter the cost.
