Dark Horse’s 40th Anniversary Celebration Of ‘Usagi Yojimbo’ Continues With A New Exclusive Figure

As many of you know, I’m a fan of Stan Sakai‘s ronin rabbit series, Usagi Yojimbo. Currently celebrating his 40th anniversary, Dark Horse Direct has added even more excitement to the festivities with a new offering for fans of Miyamoto Usagi.
The Usagi Yojimbo 40th Anniversary Deluxe Vinyl Figure is beautifully rendered featuring a sculpt by Erick Sosa, with prototyping and paint by J.W. Productions, and is limited to only 1000 units — making it a true prize for collectors.
What I love about this statue is that Usagi is holding his katana in one hand and wakizashi in the other, his armor from his time under Lord Mifune is bright and really pops giving this sculpt a ton of shelf appeal.
What’s also really cool is this deluxe figure includes alternative ears and arm pieces so you can pose Usagi in a more battle-waiting than battle-ready pose.
