The Marvel Universe Gets Clobbered In New ‘The Thing’ Variant Covers

Ben Grimm is one of the Marvel Universe’s greatest heroes. Frankly, he should be Spider-Man levels of popular. Well, thanks to a new series of variant covers, he just may get there.

These twelve new variants, hitting shelves in November, feature Marvel’s greatest heroes reimagined as orange rock monsters (except the She-Hulk one, she’s green). Some of them treat the idea seriously, while others have some silly fun with the concept (seriously, check out Aaron Kuder’s Spider-Man cover).

The covers feature work by Kuder, Paco Medina, Javier Garron, Pete Woods, Adrei Bressan, Elizabeth Torque, Todd Nauck, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Ario Anindito, Iban Coello, Chrissie Zullo and Luciano Vecchio.
