Fanhome’s ‘E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial Build-Up’ Stages 27-32

This month’s E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial Build-Up subscription box has arrived from Fanhome. This shipment includes build stages 27-32. We are still in that middle stage where internal support structures and gearboxes and things need to be assembled before the really cool stuff like skin and lights can get installed.
This month’s pieces include the platform that Zrek will stand upon when completed, the gearbox that will operate his telescoping neck, the battery case, and the infrared sensor for the remote. After seeing how the wiring harnesses are routed through the model’s base (and previously having some moments of confusion while wiring the head), I marked the ends of the wiring harnesses for the battery pack, power switch, and infrared sensor for easier identification in subsequent steps.
Looking at the pieces I currently have, and comparing them to the finished model, I believe there are a couple more months of internal structure building, gearbox assembly, and wiring before I get to start attaching skin, fingers, and toes, but things are coming together.
