Lara Croft Raids Netflix This October With ‘Tomb Raider: The Legend Of Lara Croft’ Animated Series

Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft is a new animated series featuring the rise of the greatest heroine in video games. The role of Lady Lara Croft will be voiced by Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter) and the series will be animated by Powerhouse Animation Studios (Castlevania). The series that takes place after the events of Shadow of the Tomb Raider and has Earl Baylon reprising his role as Lara’s best mate Jonah Maiava.
I’m glad that this animated adaptation is keeping the grittiness from the Rise of the Tomb Raider reboot and combining it with the pulpy supernatural elements from the earlier games’ legacy. Lara Croft is the most iconic gaming heroine for good reason. When done justice she’s a slick combination between James Bond and Indiana Jones. This animated series could become the definitive version of Lara for a new generation.
Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft will arrive on Netflix October 10th.
