‘Sonic x Shadow Generations’ Receives An Official Story Trailer

For people wondering about the new content in SEGA’s upcoming Sonic x Shadow Generations, this new story trailer is for you. It focuses entirely on the “Shadow” portion of the game, as his nemesis, Black Doom, reappears with a plot that involves using Shadow to his own ends.
SEGA summarizes the new campaign: “When Shadow’s old nemesis, Black Doom, reemerges and threatens to take over the world, Shadow must journey into his own past, confront painful memories, face familiar foes, and unlock new powers to save the world!”
Of course, Sonic fans already got a look at many of Shadow’s new powers during the Doom Powers trailer last month. These new powers appear to give him not only better ways to fight enemies, but to make it through the platforming challenges standing in his way as well.
Between this and the upcoming Sonic 3 film hitting later this year, SEGA seems committed to doing right by Shadow fans.
Sonic x Shadow Generations launches October 25th for Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and Nintendo Switch.
