Level-5 Confirms ‘Decapolice’ Has Been Delayed To 2026

During LEVEL-5’s latest “Vision” event, the company confirmed that their upcoming detective RPG, Decapolice, has been delayed to 2026. Considering Decapolice was originally meant to launch in 2023, this feels like a massive delay. However, LEVEL-5 President Akihiro Hino mentioned the game was being delayed because both the visuals and content are being improved, meaning it’ll require more time to finish.

At the same time though, they premiered a new trailer featuring a theme song for the game, sung by MARiA of music group GARNiDELiA, entitled “City of Love”. LEVEL-5 also confirmed an anime would be launching alongside the game in 2026, turning this into another cross-media property for them.

While Decapolice certainly looks awesome, is a 2026 delay too much?

Decapolice is planned to launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Steam, and Nintendo Switch.
