‘Rogue Flight’ Brings Back Classic 1980s Anime-Inspired Space Combat

Developer Truant Pixel and publisher Perp Games have announced Rogue Flight, a new space combat game inspired by 1980s and ’90s anime. Taking place in a world where humanity was crushed by its own interstellar defense system, Rogue Flight takes place three years after the last survivors of humanity discover their last hope: a single ship, capable of doing battle against the hordes of enemies keeping humanity from freedom.
Boasting branching path narratives, a highly customizable ship, and an all-star voice cast, Rogue Flight certainly looks like a potential late standout as we move towards the end of the year. The Steam page goes in greater detail on some of the game’s features:
