Vault Comics Sci-Fi Dark Comedy ‘Goobers’ #1 Gets A Second Printing

Vault Comics’ darkly comical new book, Goobers #1, has sold out at the distributor level and so goes the way of so many other sell-out successes, and that’s back to the printers for a second go-round. This second printing will feature two new covers, including a new “Barf Bag” polybagged variant by Ryan Lee and Adam Cahoon.

Goobers is written by Cody Ziglar (Spider-Punk, Miles Morales: Spider-Man, Futurama), drawn by Ryan Lee (Rick and Morty), coloured by Kurt Michael Russell (Money Shot,The Nasty), lettered by Andworld, and designed by Adam Cahoon.

Here’s the premise of this dark comedy series:

“Clayton Lowe is headed back to his small Southern hometown. His new friends from grad school are about to meet his old friends from high school and discover that something may have finally changed in the town where nothing ever changes: Pine Cove is ground zero for an infestation of body-snatching alien-bugs. Time to bury the past.”
