NYCC 2024: Disney Publishing’s Villains Takes Over NYC Coffee Shop

With space in New York Comic Con’s Javits Convention Center at a premium, many brands take over nearby space to drum up interest in their products and shows.

These so-called “activations” can range from subtle to more in your face, but most are popular attractions for con-goers. And the lines for many of them can be extreme.
Coming in somewhere in the middle of those categories is Disney Publishing’s takeover of Daily Provisions, a coffee shop located only a few blocks from Javits. There, both inside and out, you’ll be surrounded by familiar villains drawn from Disney’s vast array of animated films.

Sleeping Beauty’s Maleficent and the Beast from Beauty and the…(well you get it), grace the shop’s outside windows. While inside, even more baddies greet coffee lovers. Customers can order themed lattes, including ube-favored Mistress of All Evil and caramel-apple themed Fairest of All. And the baristas make each drink extra special with carefully crafted designs on top of the foam.
