‘Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge Of The Seven’ Reveals An Overview Trailer

Square-Enix has released Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven, their remake of the classic SNES title, and they’ve got a five minute overview trailer for fans. It goes over the basic conflict in the game, with the Varennes Empire fighting back against the Seven Heroes who have turned against them. It also shows how players can build up their party through the Retinue System, how battle, exploration and side quests work, and how to further develop the Varennes Empire.

While this year’s SaGa: Emerald Grace felt like it was designed for long-time SaGa fans, Revenge of the Seven feels more like it’s designed to be a great first-time SaGa title. Already, the game’s reviews are indicating it’s certainly a more appealing product to critics, with Metacritic scoring the game at an 80 for PlayStation 5, while Opencritic has it sitting at 83.
