The Art Of Politics: Pre-Election Special
by Richard Bruton
The Art of Politics — proving that a picture can be way more powerful than 1,000 words, as the world’s best political cartoonists sharpen their pencils and get going … and we’re doing a Pre-Election Special…
Now, if you have to ask ‘Which election?’ you may have been living under a rock for the past few years. It’s the election. A US election that seems to have the entire world holding its breath … perfectly illustrated by Ella Baron here…

We’ve had the lead-up, we’ve had the debates, we’ve had the surprise dropping out of President Joe Biden, giving Vice President Kamala Harris the chance to make the move up, to become the first black woman to become president. And we’ve had, in the opposite, red corner, Donald Trump being Donald Trump.
Official election day is today, Tuesday 5th November. But America had been going to the polls for weeks before that, with early voting and mail-in ballots open in many states.

Election fraud? – No, absolutely not. Won’t stop MAGA going nuts over it though…
Despite there being absolutely no evidence of any major election fraud in American elections — incident rates between 0.0003% and 0.0025% (The Brennan Centre) — that hasn’t stopped Trump and the MAGA extremists from pre-emptively claiming it’s happening/going to happen.
