Amaranth Weaves Her Magic On Artgerm’s ‘New Champions’ #1 Cover

Marvel’s next generation of heroes continues to grow. The New Champions are ready to make a mark on the Marvel Universe, and it looks like a couple of them are already looking like breakouts.
Coming from Steve Foxe & Ivan Fiorelli, New Champions will see many of the new legacy heroes that have popped up around the Marvel Universe over the past year team up. The team will see Liberty, Hellrune, Moon Squire, and Cadet Marvel trying to sort out their past after Hydra kidnapped them in Spider-Woman, then expand to add others. Amaranth in particular is getting a huge spotlight in Scarlet Witch, joining the series’ supporting cast with this week’s issue #6.
Superstar artist Stanley ‘Artgerm’ Lau has created a stunning cover featuring the young witch for New Champions #1. Artgerm always creates some of the most visually stunning covers in comics, and this one makes this new heroine look particularly powerful.
