Fire And Frost Studios Announce Open-World RPG ‘Of Ash And Steel’

Given major titles like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Dragon Age: The Veilguard, it shouldn’t be surprising that open-world RPGs are coming back into vogue. Even better: smaller studios are able to bring fans of the genre new titles, like developer Fire and Frost’s Of Ash and Steel, an open-world RPG set during the medieval period. In a five minute reveal trailer above, Fire and Frost gives a fun glimpse at the creatives involved in the studio, and the grim-and-gritty world of the game itself.
The game’s Steam page is already up, offering an overview of what players can expect when they dive into the game. Alongside a choice-focused narrative, there’s also a promise of multiple fighting styles and a heavy focus on exploration as the world will have no quest markers or guides.
Of Ash and Steel is set to release in 2025 for Steam.
