Believe A Man Can Fly Again In ‘Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story’ Trailer

Yesterday, we picked Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story as our Max pick of the month based entirely on the description and the word of mouth from those who’ve seen the documentary. But now we have some additional supporting evidence for our choice thanks to this newly released trailer. Directed by Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedgui, the film chronicles the Superman star’s life from his days as an actor-in training — and Robin Williams‘s roommate — to his star-making turn as the Man of Steel, and to his truly heroic efforts as an advocate for spinal injuries following a horse-rising accent that left him totally paralyzed. As seen above, he was a remarkable person both on-screen and off, so it’s great to see his life celebrated in the medium he loved.
Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story debuts on HBO and Max on December 7th.
