Start A New Year With A New Crunchyroll Winter 2025 Lineup

For this writer, the best New Year’s resolution you can have in 2025 is to watch all the new and continuing anime Crunchyroll has to offer. The Winter 2025 season kicks off this January and the service will be simulcasting over 40 new, returning, and continuing programs all throughout. There are so many incredible anime coming, so lets talk about them.

Let’s start with a personal favorite of mine, Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise From The Shadow- starts January. Sung Jinwoo returns from a near death dungeon with even more power. Beyond that, he has new friends, and… an army? Watch as he pushes his abilities and his body to its limits in this new chapter. Check out this incredible anime based on the manwha of the same name and catch up on season 1 via Crunchyroll this holiday season.

Next up, we have an all new original series ZENSHU! What would you do if you woke up in your favorite childhood anime movie? Natsuko Hirose is a shut-in animator who suddenly wakes up in that exact situation. We will have to watch and see just how she storyboards her way out of this crazy original adventure starting January 5th.

Science mysteries and medical mysteries make their return this season as well — both The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 and Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE are set to continue January 9th, so make sure you don’t miss them! This also marks the fourth and final season for Doctor Stone as Senku travels to the Americas to save humanity.
