March’s One World Under Doom story beats promise some big changes for the Marvel Universe. The biggest is without a doubt to one of the publisher’s oldest, and most stalwart, heroes.
In One World Under Doom #2 by Ryan North & RB Silva, the Fantastic Four suffer a humbling defeat at the hands of Doom. And that defeat appears to be centered around Doom doing something Reed Richards was never able to- cure Ben Grimm! The world has never been more uncertain for the Thing!
Then shortly afterwards in Fantastic Four #30 by North & Cory Smith, Ben is navigating this new normal for him. But when a trip to New York goes awry, Ben is desperate. He soon makes a decision that he can’t undo, for the worst!
