Art For Art’s Sake #295: Kit Anderson’s Incredible Work
by Richard Bruton
Welcome one and all to another of my weekly trawls through the finest art to be found in comics. It’s Art For Art’s Sake!
Another spin around the world of comics this week, plenty of beautiful things to look at, all ending with the wonderful artwork of Kit Anderson, whose Safer Spaces was published by Avery Hill in 2024 and whose first full-length book, Second Shift, is out in June 2025.

We’ll end this week with some of Kit Anderson‘s fabulous artwork. Anderson’s been published by Avery Hill (always a sign of quality) with Safer Spaces, a short story collection, in 2024 and has her first graphic novel, Second Shift, published by them in June 2025.
I was previewing that one a bit ago and happened to have a look around Kit’s website. It’s packed, absolutely packed, with plenty of absolutely wonderful artwork…
First, a little illustration work…
Now, some comics work…
Now some from Safer Spaces…
And finally, from the forthcoming Second Shift…
