Image Comics/Giant Generator’s ‘Dust To Dust’ #1 Gets A Second Printing
by Olly MacNamee
JG Jones and Phil Bram‘s Dust to Dust #1 from Image Comics and Giant Generator has sold out at the distributor level and is off to the printers for a second printing. Something co-creator Jones is rather happy to hear:

“I’m overwhelmed it’s the reception Dust To Dust has received. When Phil and I began the first draft over 15 years ago, I wanted to make it something special. All of my skill and know how from 30 years in comics is now being poured out on my sleeve.”
Bram added:
“To see our world finally come to life after all these years through Jeff’s brilliant artwork with the amazing team at Giant Generator was reward enough for me. To have so many people buy it and enjoy it, and to have our 1st issue already go back for another printing is such sweet cake!”
Pitched as “Yellowstone meets Cormac McCarthy’s Blood Meridian” here’s more on the plotline of Dust to Dust #1:
“In the darkest days of the Great Depression, death stalks the Dust Bowl. As towering dust storms blast the parched Oklahoma panhandle, farmers try to flee the failing town of New Hope, but no one gets far. Battling his own demons, Sheriff Meadows teams up with Sarah, a traveling photo-journalist, in a desperate fight to stop the Death that rides the Dusters.”
Dust to Dust #1, second printing will be out on Wednesday, February 5th from Image Comics.
