Developer Rebel Wolves Offers A Cinematic Trailer For Their ‘The Blood Of Dawnwalker’

by Sage Ashford

Rebel Wolves, a studio led by former CDProjekt Red developers, has presented a cinematic reveal trailer for their upcoming open-world action RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker.  Set in 14th Century Europe, the game introduces Coen, a young man transformed into a Dawnwalker — a half-human, half-vampire in the land of Vale Sangora, part of the Carpathian Mountains. There, as the Black Plague threatens society, vampires have decided to emerge from the shadows to take over society from the feudal lords. For Coen however, the goal is more simple: rescue his family.

Players are given thirty days and nights to achieve their goal, with the developer mentioning that timeframe is a core part of the gameplay. While exploring the world itself won’t cause time to pass, completing quests will as it tries to keep the immersion and the feeling of a ticking clock in the world.

The Blood of Dawnwalker has no platforms announced yet, but will receive a full gameplay reveal this summer.
