Marvel Debuts ‘Star Wars’ Women’s History Month Variant Covers

In the galaxy far, far away, some of the greatest heroes are women. In March, Marvel Comics spotlights some of the greatest of those heroes all across their Star Wars line.

The publisher is bringing four of the greatest women artists in comics together for these covers on the covers of all four of March’s Star Wars titles. Yasmin Putri, Betsy Cola, Ema Lupacchino and Star Wars legend Jan Duursema will bring their talents to the covers of Star Wars: Jedi Knights, Star Wars: The High Republic– Fear of the Jedi, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and Star Wars: Legacy of Vader.

The covers will spotlight fan favorite and legendary heroes from all across the Star Wars saga. Putri’s cover features Ahsoka Tano, the former Jedi, survivor of the Clone Wars, and one of the greatest warriors the Galaxy has ever seen. Cola depicts Rey Skywalker, the young Jedi that is the future of the Jedi Order in the wake of the defeat of the First Order. Duursema returns to Star Wars for the first time in a very long time to show Princess Leia training to be a Jedi Knight in a yet unseen moment between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. And Lupacchino shows fans Chancellor Lina Soh, one of the stars of the High Republic era, and the leader of the Republic in the midst of the terrifying Nihil crisis.
