Charles Xavier Goes On The Run In New ‘X-Manhunt’ Trailer

Marvel’s upcoming X-Manhunt crossover promises to give the still-new X-Men relaunch a throughline that will unite the line. Over the weekend, Marvel revealed a trailer for the story.
Told across seven chapters in Uncanny X-Men, Storm, NYX, X-Men, X-Factor, X-Force and a conclusion one-shot (plus a tie-in side story in Exceptional X-Men), the story finds Xavier escaping Graymalkin prison and going on the run. But why has he escaped? How will his former students react? And how will it set the path forward for mutantkind?
“We’ve mostly been keeping the various groups of X-characters separated from one another as we set up the post-Krakoa landscape,” Executive Editor Tom Brevoort explained. “But it feels like now is the right time to send them crashing into one another. And who better to instigate this situation than the disgraced Professor X, who has intimate connections with almost all of our key players?”
