‘Who The F*#k Is Frank?’ Also Asks “Who Pays The Tariffs On Comics And Collectibles?”

by Brendan M. Allen

The Toy Experts Johnny Jimenez and Steve Johnston present Who The F*#k Is Frank?. Joining them  to discuss comics, toys, collectibles, and all things in worlds of pop culture fandom are Co-Hosts Paul Vato (MADtv, Ted, The Big Game) and Brendan Allen of Comicon.

This week, the gang addresses the online collectibles market, specifically fraudulent sellers of everything from collectibles to comics, autographs, and cigars. They kick around a few ways to avoid being scammed, and offer suggestions for vetting potential online deals.

They discuss the upcoming impact of import tariffs on collectibles and comics. Most US comics are printed in Canada, and 80% of all toys and collectibles worldwide are manufactured in China, two of the countries hit hardest by the new taxes. Who ends up with the bill at the end of the day?

In other news, FanX and Comic-Con International battle for convention attendance out of Florida this weekend.
