‘Bug Wars’ #1 Gets A Second Printing From Image Comics

Bug Wars #1 by writer Jason Aaron (Southern Bastards, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Absolute Superman) and artist Mahmud Asrar (Conan the Barbarian, X-Men, Batman vs Robin) becomes the latest victim of under printing a comic from Image Comics. With it’s sell-out at the distribution level and on the day of its release, Bug Wars #1 is getting a second printing.
For anyone who missed out on a first look, here’s the synopsis again:
“Bug Wars follows Slade Slaymaker, a kid from Alabama who is suddenly lost in a vicious world beyond his imagination. It is a world of marauding ant armies, spell-casting spider witches, and beetle-riding barbarians. A kingdom of tiny but deadly warriors hidden in his own backyard. The same world that saw his father eaten alive by insects and now plunges young Slade into the middle of a brutal Bug War to decide the fate of his family.”
Speaking on records Aaron stated:
“The infestation has begun and Mahmud and I are just getting started exploring the wild world of the Slaymaker family’s backyard. Bug Wars #1 is one of the all-around most impressive, most comprehensively cool comic book packages I’ve ever been a part of in my career. And we’re hoping everyone will join us in the Yard.”

Bug Wars #1 second printing is out on Wednesday March 12th from Image Comics.
