Fanhome Reactivates Their ‘Star Trek Die-Cast Starship Collection’ And Opens Fresh Subscriptions

In response to massive demand, Fanhome has reactivated their Diecast Starship Collection and opened fresh subscriptions and single ship orders. The subscription-based collection producer was unable to keep up with fan response to the original release. Realizing how popular these models are, Fanhome has upped production to meet demand and offer new subscriptions beginning March 10. This will also allow single purchases of previously released ships.
If you haven’t seen my previous reviews of this line (or one of the episodes of WtFiF? where we’ve discussed them), these models are really something. The detailed replicas are unique and eye-catching additions to Star Trek, sci-fi, and diecast collections. The Fanhome Star Trek Starship Collection includes ships featured in Star Trek: Nemesis, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Star Trek: Picard, Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Lower Decks, and Star Trek: Prodigy.
The ships in the collection are constructed with a combination of die-cast metal and high-quality ABS resin. The typical model measures between 7-9-” long. Every fourth ship is an oversized replica of one the most significant Star Trek ships, which will be approximately 11” long. Fanhome has worked with Star Trek licensor CBS to ensure a high level of accuracy. The designs are all based on the original VFX models that were used to produce the shows.
Each ship also comes with a 16-page magazine that profiles the ship in the Star Trek universe and explores the design process with exclusive art and brand-new interviews with the production team.
The Fanhome Star Trek Die-Cast Collection is being supervised by Ben Robinson, who has written a wide range of books and publications about various Star Trek series and ships and is recognized as a leading expert on the franchise by fans and filmmakers alike.
